A lot of TV commercials- are locally aired, & fit into the time slots that are cut into the TV shows. I don't think the local stations we watch do a very good job of matching up the volume of their commercials to that of the shows they're in(or else they DELIBERATELY make them louder- to get our attention in case we fell asleep during the show!). But you're RIGHT, it can be VERY annoying.

The advertisements are done like that to grab the viewers attention with the sudden volume jump. They make tv's that have a volume function that normalizes the audio (because of those ads), so it adjusts the sound back down automatically to the level you were listening at.

This is quite an old trick used by advertising companies who make t.v. commercials. This is to make their commercials more noticeable to viewers.
But, thanks to the modern day digital television broadcasters; these high volumed commericals are automatically smoothned by the control panel in the TV station/s.
But, if you are tuned into an analogue t.v. broadcaster, you will still experience these.

I have a similar situation. possibly the advertisers save the quantity severe at the same time as recording on objective. I leap to next decision channel of my pastime. i do not imagine that a house theater gadget will decrease the quantity proper away. it ought to mellow down the sound and make it sweeter.

Some of the ones inserted by the local cable company do that, and they're sometimes off time (a few seconds too late or early).

I am pretty sure when the edit the video they set the audio over 0.0db (I think that's the normal level), you can get it upto about +12.00db in my editing program.
This just means the volume will be louder..
