I believe they would have eventually, not as a re-grouped touring band, but probably for a single event if not for a complete album.
Time heals all wounds and as they got older I'm sure sentiment and nostalgia would most definitely allowed them to come together on some occasion or project.
It did almost happen when John was alive, as the three others performed together at the wedding of Eric Clapton in '79

No one can ever say for certain, but the signs were beginning to look good. John and Paul were talking again, something they hadn't done for years, and on one of the last interviews with Lennon, he was specifically asked if there would be a Beatles reunion, and his answer was basically that anything could happen. So, whether they would have gotten together sooner or later, a historians best guess would have to say there was a very good chance.

I don't think it would have been a very good chance. They were having some major problems in the late 1960s and with all of the legal stuff going on it was a big mess. John died in 1980 I think and they still seemed to be having problems before then.

If John was still with Yoko Ono, I don't think they would have got back together. I can't see Paul McCartney being able to tolerate having her touring with them, etc.

Fairly good . Usually they all get back together when their music turns nostalgic ..John didn't croak ; he had help .
