Someone who knows best. Because "We the People" are not ALL well informed. And we tend to change our minds a lot. And we never seem to agree on anything. So I think we need someone in there who is looking out for the country, not someone in there just trying to win the Miss Congeniality prize.

I'm looking for someone who is surrounded by intelligent people with diverse viewpoints on how to resolve monumental problems. Also, someone who can respectfully represent America and articulate his/her administration's goals to the world. A leader that will include, motivate and inspire our own nation to strive for greatness once again.

BOTH. For any President to keep saying "I know best, TRUST ME!" without any support from the People is condescension at best, and dictatorship at worse--not all dictators are stupid. For one to follow only the opinion polls would be equally bad. We need a smart person who remembers that s/he works for the people.

I'm looking for neither. Someone who knows best, only thinks they know best and there is no such thing as "We the People" as we people are clearly divided in our ideologies. I'm looking for someone who will take the middle ground and stand firm.
