I really think people are making this out more than it is. I mean he's not going to be playing Harry Potter forever and he's got a long future ahead of him in acting if he wants it.
And for people saying he's a role model, NO! Parents are role models NOT actors
I applaud him for getting himself ready to NOT be Harry Potter in a few years.
And if you don't care, don't answer, the 2 pts aint worth it,lol

yes I agree, he should be able to grow and not to be seen as harry potter forever. but may I ask how old is he now? I honestly don't know. I do think Hollywood screws with a person (gee wonder how I came to THAT conclusion) and kids grow up faster than they should. That being said, he could remain a great, nice person. I hope.
Oh, and I 100% agree with you that parents or teachers need to be the role models, not actors and singers. AMEN

I think that one of the more disturbing trends of the last several decades is the emerging tendency of people to worship sports and entertainment celebrities as if they were important people worthy of emulating.
It's no good for the public, which gives so much attention to people who are really no better than the local plumber or the housewife next door, and it's no good for the celeb--e.g. Mr. Radcliffe--who is pressured to live his life to satisfy the artificial expectations of others.
I'm glad he went a head and did the pics, and I'm glad you enjoyed them.

Yeah people are overreacting! And besides, even without his shirt off, half the girls who like Harry Potter watch it cause of him. Rupert Grint is not so bad either!

and harry shouldn't really be a role model since, it would make the wrold a little more.. violent? is that the right word to use? not sure, but people (kids) whould start acting all 'brave' and do weird stuff like harry does...
