P.S. Sorry if I spoiled it for some of you!

I did not like Marcel through the whole show and I was soooo upset Sam wasn't in the final two. In my opinion Sam should have won but I did come to respect Marcel a tad in this last show. I think he will do big things but he still has a lot of growing up to do and why would they give him $100,000 to start his own business when he couldn't even manage two people to cook 4 courses? He has a lot of growing up to do first and a lot of things to learn but I think he will be great and like they said possibly surpass Ilan in the future. Of the two I do agree that Ilan was a better chef at this time.

okay marcel may be a mad scientist in the kitchen but he wasn't that experienced in cooking his finale dish, but he did take a risk because he had never cooked anything like that before. Ilan was more experienced and is a good chef. they both have their own styles but i seriously think that Sam should have been competing against Ilan because they have both won the most quickfire and elimination challenges. marcel talks a lot of trash and he plays dirty he turned off Elia's stove top burner and he kinda cheated his way to the final four. Sorry but I am not with you because I think either Sam or Ilan should win and Ilan won so Marcel should just go cry over his foams and get over it. Marcel is too dramatic. Ilan probably shouldn't have said that he cooks with his heart and Marcel doesn't he did kinda do well for improvising. I don't know I am kinda torn I wasn't sure who I wanted to win I was changing my mind at the last minute.

I dislike Marcel, and his anime character hair. But he does have a lot of skill. He would have won, I believe if he had not botched the one dish where he lost his fish. Sam basically fixed that course for him. Sam kinda carried him. The judges liked Ilans dishes but were more impressed with Marcel's I think.

Ilan cooked what he KNEW & obviously cooked it well.
His team wanted to make SURE that he beat Marcel.

Marcel wasn't "bullied" just for the sake of bullying.
He was disliked by EVERY SINGLE OTHER CHEF!

Why do you think he was sooooooo disliked?
Marcel cheated early in the competition & that is why ALL the other chefs disliked him.
To keep the competition on an even playing field no contestant was allowed (prior to the finale) to bring or use any of their own ingredients or equipment or cookbooks or recipes.
Having any of these items would give one an unfair advantage.
ALL had to cook and/or create using the SAME products/utensils/equipment as the others.

Ever wonder why (according to him) Marcels ice cream, in episode 3, was the only one with a different consistancy?
Or he was the only one who could perform the infamous "foams" ?

Marcel was confronted & had ingredients confiscated.
He brought ingredients with him & was caught with them.

Why do you think Ilan tried to "foam" a salad dressing (unsuccessfully, I might add) ?
Do ya think he was trying to prove a point? That maybe Marcel was using additional ingredients that were not available to the others.....? Or did you see just the (much editted) version on TV that kind of looked like he was just mocking Marcel?

Marcel cheated PERIOD
& He admittedly tried to intimidate to throw other chefs off of their game.
His plan/ploy worked much to his own advantage & got him to the Finale.
Then, when he WAS ALLOWED to bring his little arsenal of chemicals........his only success with them was adding a chemical gum to fresh pineapple & calling it POI.

thanks for the spoiler.

i would have picked ilan over that creepy hair-do-ed marcel any day...but i don't think either of them deserved to win.

sam had the attitude and skills to be top chef. i think it's crap that he got sent home last week.

At least he did not forget his own entre or ignore a judge who tells him that something will not work and it didn't. Marcel is a coceited egomaniac you should never be allowed to run a kitchen. He can cook but only by himself. He blew this competition.
