I've installed Vista about an hour ago and at the bottom right of the screen it says Evaluation Copy.
Does this mean it will expire soon?

The only reason it says that is you havn't entered your key. In previous instalations of windows it always had you input your key durring instalation but with vista you have to enter it later. Check your packaging for how to do this.
Unless you downloaded a beta version which should have already been used up on earlier editions but later ones could last till june.
