That he could also wind up in jail. The revolutionary is often glamorized but more often victim of his own faults and beliefs.

To me it means that whatever they did made them very proud. I guess the nature of freedom is a good thing obviously, so if you take a step to providing more freedom to yourself and others you would be proud of what you did and walk around with the sense of purpose and pride therefore making you walk a little taller(instead of stooped over in oppression) and raise your head up(instead of looking down subserviently)

It means that a person who fights for freedom will have pride knowing that he or she did something about it rather than sitting back doing nothing. It all comes down to pride.
As described in these lyrics of "God Bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood...
And I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.

To me, it is obvious that it means: "Red freedom has a door that would not be knocked but by a hand stained with blood", but kind of put mildly

to me it means a man who will stand up for freedom is proud because he risked something maybe his life for this freedom for you and me as well as himself, I would guess that is why the military men will always stand tall and their heads up as they put their lives on the line for freedom wheather or not you think it right or wrong,

well it all depends on how you look at it....I think it is pretty clear that it means "control"..somebody who does not want freedom except for themselves
