What is your problem lady!!!! First you hate your daughter because you say she is "ugly" and now you think that it is only the outside that counts.... good Lord woman.... you need to do some serious soul searching... if you even have a soul...

and I can understand you saying you are just being realistic. I am a realistic person and I do not consider myself beautiful nor do I think I am ugly but it is a fact that men and woman look at each other for phyical beauty our facial looks and our body shapes but I know that you can have a beautiful girl in facial looks and her personality is bad mean evil etc. even in the eyes that found her beautiful will find her to be a very UGLY PERSON AND VISE VERSA

I understand why you(or anyone) would think that

they prob. think "oh, they are just trying to reassure themselves because they arent beautiful so they say yada yada"

to some yeah that may be true

but overall, i think its because they are able to see what others dont see: the inside

some people(not all) that are "beautiful" only think about appearances and materialistic things, and dont consider the personality of a person

but with others, they take the time to look deeper within another and sees for themselves that beauty does come from within

and another thing
what exactly defines a "beautiful" person or an "ugly" one?

i wasnt trying to put down you or your question, just venting my thoughts

Because it's mostly ugly people who HAVE beauty within. Although there are certainly exceptions beautiful people are mainly vain and shallow and are ugly inside. I know this is a grand generalization but it happens over and over. I am neither ugly nor beautiful more of an average in looks so I can see things from both perspectives.

True beauty does come from within. Outer beauty fades with time, inner beauty doesn't. You can't dispute that.

Also beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so no-one can be physically beautiful to everyone, so maybe it is more important to work on your inner person.

HTH : )

There are a lot of people that are not very attractive yet think they are, and moreover, lack the capacity to assess beauty in others by more than the superficial values pushed by media.

Generally people that don't have something important, are ignorant of its characteristics... like class, intelligence, humor, and will never recognize it.

Sorry, but you have to be pretty shallow to even ask this question. You are only pretty on the outside. So, I guess all those ugly people are right.

Deep inside, i believe that everyone wants to be loved for their inner beauty.
So it's actually a FACT that true beauty comes from within.

they have lived the true life and have learned to appreciate what beauty REALLY is, whereas so called "Beautiful" people are known to be arrogant and full of ego and proudness due to their beauty. this is the obstacle/blockage for them to realize the actual meaning of inner/outer beauty!

No not really. I have wondered why beautiful people always have to ask this question, as if they are trying to convince themselves of something...
