The assignment is to create a paragraph comparing the greta purge and animal farm, Please read this and tell me if anything is wrong or if there is something that would sound better if it were changed. Thanks in advance for the help. ( the topic sentence MUST be used so it cant be changed )

'Chapter seven of Animal Farm is an allegory of Stalin’s Great Purge. First of all, both were lead by dictators who used “secret police” to gain control of society. For example, Joseph Stalin was a dictator in Great Purge who used the KGB ( secret police ) to control those under him. Similarly, Napoleon is a dictator in the Animal Farm Revolution who used dogs to maintain the order of his people...... (rest in additional details)

A second way in which these two are alike is that both Joseph Stalin and Napoleon forced law biding citizens to confess to crimes they didn’t do. For example, Stalin tortured people until they admitted to crimes they did not do, then he either killed them or sent them to jail. Similarly, Napoleon forced the animals to admit to crimes they didn’t commit; then he killed them. A third way in which these two are similar is that both Joseph and Napoleon ended killing many of their own people. For example, Joseph Stalin massacred over 900,000 of his own people. Similarly, Napoleon massacred a large amount of his followers which included hens, pigs, and sheep.

Animals should be correct, either would work but Napoleon is a pig and "his people" were animals ( sheep, pigs, hen, horsese ect ) so i chose animals

'Chapter seven of Animal Farm is an allegory of Stalin’s Great Purge. A KEY PARALLEL IS THAT BOTH REVOLUTIONS ARE LED by dictators who use THE “secret police” to gain control of society. WHERE Stalin USED the KGB to control those under him, Napoleon USES dogs.
BOTH DICTATORS ALSO forced law biding citizens to confess to crimes they didn’t COMMIT. For example, Stalin tortured people until they CONFESSED, then either killed them or sent them to jail; WHILE Napoleon forceS the animals to admit to crimes; then killS them.
ANOTHER SIMILARITY IS THAT STALIN and Napoleon BOTH ENDED UP killing many of their own people. STALIN, for example, massacred over 900,000 INDIVIDUALS, WHILE Napoleon LIKEWISE PUT MANY OF HIS FOLLOWERS TO DEATH, INCLUDING hens, pigs, and sheep.
