Naruto which hokage is the real third?

My friend has been saying that the current hokage "Konohamaru's grandfather" is the fourth hokage and not the third i am pretty sure that he is the third. Can anyone confirm this so i can print it out to show him that he is wrong?

Sarutobi - sandaime hokage - 3'rd Hokage (who is Konohamaru's granfather) is indeed the 3rd Hokage.

Sarutobi was the 3rd person to be appointed Hokage in Konoha and had retired after he appointed the 4th Hokage (Yondaime) (The younger blonde haired Hokage who looks similar to Naruto who died during the battle against Kyuubi/9 tailed fox). When Yondaime Hokage died, Sarutobi, instead of choosing a successor (a 5th Hokage) came out of retirement and took place as Hokage. So, although he seems like he's the 4th , he's just the 3rd who took the place of Hokage untill a 5th Hokage was to be found.

Konohamaru's grandfather is the third hokage. He appointed the fourth hokage, who mysteriously looks a lot like Naruto. But the fourth hokage died, giving is life to save the village and so the third hokage went back to being a hokage. You can just search up any random Naruto websites.

The third hokage is Sarutobi. The fourth hokage is said to have died after casting the jutsu that sealed the kyuubi in Naruto, and so the Sandaime(third), who had already retired, resumed the position of hokage. Besides the faces of those who have been hokage are all carved in order from left to right on the mountain overshadowing Konoha.
