I refuse to play this childish game.....I listen often to the same stories over and over and get a kick out of it, but I have one friend who has conistently hung up on me and i refuse to call back anymore to reason with them. And you?????? IF it applies?????

If you're bad mouthing that friend and they hang up on you, fair enough. i often hang up on people if they're being inconsiderate towards my feelings, and by hanging up i mean dont say bye after they do haha, so its not as bad as just plain hanging up, and they are mean to me so i have a reason.
Just because they dont agree with you!? thats bull piss and you're exactly right, its childish!! I would be mega pissed!!
There's people i feel like hanging up on, and i'm sure you've wanted to hang up on this certain friend, but you've acted your age and wanted to talk it through.
Personally, if you dont mind just not speaking to them forever dont call back. if you want to sort it out and continue being there friend, call them and tell them how you feel, but dont apologise for something they did. Either way its your choice, they've been so rude to you, if you've had enough, thats understandable.
I have a friend thats driving me insane at the moment AND it's making me hate ppl!

Well, there was a time I had one person I hung up on, but that was because the used guilt trips alot and wouldn't stop... so I just started hanging up. They were very angry and thought it was immautre... I just said that I wouldn't hang up if they stopped the guilt trips when I said 'enough'... whatever.. I don't tlak to them anymore. If this person is doing this because they can't handle a a different opinon.. then yeah.. let them go. You don't need that

Had a girlfriend that thought it was funny/cute to end arguments that way, I just never called back, figured, let her play her games, see how soon she clls back. I'd even go so far as to ignore the phone afterwards. Gave her the idea it wasn't cute. Heck, one time I hung up on her right after I picked up, as you can imagine that didn't go over well.

Life is too short to hang around people whose net result on your life is a minus rather than a plus. Evaluate this entire relationship to see what side it falls on ... is it more draining than uplifting? If so ... well ... do YOU have time in your life for more stress than you need?

I don't think I've been hung up on. My friends are too kind to do that. You are right, I would stop dealing with her if she is going to continually so rude. You deserve to be treated with respect.

No not a friend. A mother....If she gets mad or even in a foul mood and you don't say what she wants to hear. She'll hang up on you. It drives me crazy.

I call back, and I keep calling till either they answer or turn the phone off. It really pisses me off when they do that, so in turn I piss them off with continuous calls till they answer. Stupid, I know ... but thats what I do. LOL
