See the problem is that most video outputs on a basic laptop (w/out a tv tuner) have no inputs. So this means that most likely your laptop just has video outputs. For instance, if you want to run a cable from your laptop and display somewhere else.

This means that taking a video somewhere else and putting it onto your laptop is probably unlikely when you don't have a tv tuner.

Unfortunately, I would say no. But, next time you ask a questions, you need to supply us with all the details of your computer. Brand and model number so we can tell you for sure!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but No. All laptops i'm aware of do not come with or Tv-in without installing a Tv tuner card but they do however come with Video capture (cam / camera to PC). Laptops are only manufactured with Tv-out which only allows you to use your Tv as an external monitor.
