is it good to work in bermuda islands?

i have got a job in bermudas with a pay of USD 5,000/- . is it enough to live there for a family person. further how is the city? cost of living? people? the environment? can any one help me on these?

Bermuda is a very expensive place to live from my experience as a tourist.... Lunch of burgers and 2 beers each for two was close to $50US....

Are you surre you are allowed to work in Bermda??? I was under the assumption that work permits were difficult if not impossible for noncitizens
