Definitely a no-no answer here. These serials are so far away from truth. They idealize the Indian woman and steriotype her role in society. A 'good' woman is one, according to these serials, who stays at home inspite of being educated and eligible to work, one who wears saris and jewellery as if she were a decorated vehicle during AAyudhapuja festival and steps into her husbands role only when he has left her for another woman or has gone mental. She takes the contract of all the goodness in the world, BUT atleast once, she has to go to Jail!! All the misery of this world is loaded upon her shoulders. These serials are only meant for those people who swim in self-pity and superstition. And the vamps in these serials look and behave like the direct descendents of devil himself!! They too have nothing else to do but ensnare the hero with their false charm, wear sexy, revealing clothes and keep plotting against the heroine. Don't they have anything else to do? No sir!! What possible social awareness can you get from these serials? - that we are reduntant enough to watch them? - that all saas-bahus are recieving vile ideas from these serials filled with second marriages, illicit relationships, rapes, murders and kidnappings? Give us a break, period.

No Never, The Saas-bahu type serials telecast ed on the TVs nowdays have nothing to do with social awareness, These Serials Contain more problems than solution. Most of the time the saas or bahu keep making new plans for destroying the family base and breaking relation in these TV serials.
Its not like that Saas-bahu type serials can not create social awareness if producers, directors and the other team members of these serials make some sense full move than these serial can play a big role in making social awareness.
As everyone knows A lady of the house is the real builder of the house and the serials are popular in between Lady's; The Social Message from these serials can make Society better and power full and at the last nation.

No No No never Saas Bahu Serials dont create social awareness. You see that all these type of sereials have one comman thing in them is "CONSPIRACY" in all serials a woman always makes plans how to get out other woman from home. Accidents, Hospitals Scenes are the most comman scenes. Nothing is positive about these serials...............

Yeah I have been given addicted to it too. What they coach in those serials are not functional and astonishing. And why might they carry a cleansing soap that impact human beings in a favorable way? it fairly is too plenty for the producer's image you recognize. I stay in Sri Lanka and Indian soaps are plaguing my united states. there are various objections approximately screening such ridiculous fabric. yet relatively of combating it fairly is screening, wager what they did over right here? They began coming up Sri Lankan soaps from the comparable mould. they're double worse, by way of the way.
