I tried to once but a girl at work was like "oh hunny your tag's still on" and then nicely ripped it off for me

I used to work for Monsoon, which isn't a massively expensive store (although it is high end high street I suppose), but people used to do it all the time with us. They'd buy a dress costing a couple of hundred pounds and then return it saying there was a minor defect or something like that, and we'd do a refund. Sometimes it would be a goodwill gesture, because we could tell it had been worn, but we usually did the refund. It would stink of perfume or BO so it was obvious it had been used, but the company policy told us to refund or exchange. On one occasion, this skanky chav came in to get a refund on some shoes and they were battered up but she still wanted a refund and we had to do it. Check a company's refund policy before buying anything, but it should be easy to get away with. I'm not supporting you doing this, I'm just giving you the info lol.
