For #1, it's supposed to be km NOT k, sorry about that.

*If anyone is up for explaining this to me,I would be very grateful.

1) I'm assuming k = kilometers? usually written Km

volume of your field = 1 Km x 1.5 Km x 1 Km = 1.5 Km^3

worms = 1.5 km^3 x (1000 m / km )^3 x (25 worm / m^3)
= 3.8 x 10^10

2) C to F - > (1.8 x C) + 32
F to C - > (F-32) / 1.8

-22
-42
150

3) mass = volume x density right?
so volume = area times height. but watch units and watch height of land

V = 5.5 x 10^6 mi^2 x (5280 ft / mi)^2 x (7500 - 1500 ) ft = 9.2 x 10^17 ft^3

mass = 9.2 x 10^17 ft^3 x (12 in / ft )^3 x ( 2.54 cm / in )^3 x (.917 g / cm^3) = 2.4 x 10^22 grams

the formula for density is: density= mass/volume

1. i dont understand your unities...
2. Search the conversation of farenheit degrees to celsius.
