So there's a lot of controversy going on because Daniel will be on a play in the nude...what do you guys think about this..and will it help or hurt his career as the wizard boy in Harry Potter?

First off, he's of age, so if he want's to be in that play, it's his choice. Second, I think it'll be good for him, cause he'll be able to do other things in acting, and not be known only as 'Harry Potter'.
I hate that there's controversy over this. If people don't want to see it, or don't want their kids seeing it, don't buy the tickets to see the play. It's that simple.

He wants to do more than just play Harry Potter. Besides, he'll be an adult this year, so he probably wants to play more mature roles. I saw a clip of him in the play, and he wasn't completely nude. He had jeans on, so he was only naked from the waist up. But then again, I haven't seen the entire play, so I'm not sure.

Well, its going to be in England... and it's on stage (like Broadway). So, young Harry Potter fans will never be able to see it. And his parents cant be mad. Legal age of consent in England is 16... he is 17. I think it will help his career. He wants to get out of the "kiddie" roles. By the way, have you SEEN him lately? Rawr rawr. (I can say that, I'm only 3 years older than him LOL)

I think it all depends on how he looks naked!lol Just joking! He's afraid that when the Harry Potter movies stop, that people will typecast him and he will not be offered good movie roles. I think it's great he's doing it, talk about being a risk taker!

Meh, what's the big deal. anybody who is young enough to be bothered by that kind of stuff and watches Harry Potter probably won't see that play anyway.

I think parents are being a little unreasonable...
He is 17 yrs old..and he wants to prove himself as a REAL ACTOR..not just a child/teen star...
It mite hurt his career as the wizard boy..but i think its an intelligent move for a better future as a Serious actor....
& i love him jus as much..maybe a little more..coz the pics are.... wow! drooooll..haha

i dont think it will, most ppl dont even call him daniel they call him harry potter so i think they will still keep as the harry potter
