Anywhere where i can get my thoughts down FAST. whether it is in front of a computer or in a quiet room and I have a notebook + pen in my hand.
I like "silence & solitude" which I read somewhere people are allegedly becoming allergic to.

My room.
It's covered in my drawings, National Geographic maps, posters, signs, puzzles, comics.
There are books on the shelf, and and blank CD's that I put in the microwave for 2 seconds, Empty bottles, rubber ducks, cool flower pots, my key board.
Basically anything that rocks my boat.

The ocean, whether calm or when the waves come crashing in ... it's very peaceful. Sometimes it could just be conversation with a special friend. ;)
