I have heard nothing but good news from Clinique users. I like their brand.. though it's pricey. However, if you're looking for a clean and basic makeup brand, Clinique's the way to go. Plus, the brand was even recommended by my aunt's dermatologist because they don't have oily products and are good to use for sensitive or acne-prone skin.

I love Clinique's soap XD It smells so good.

Have fun!

To be quite honest, Clinique is wonderful. I noticed on someone's answer they said the products are "non-oily". This is true, there are many oil-free products. I also read someone else's answer claim there is baby oil in the products and will clog pores, this I'm afraid is false. Some of the products do contain oil, and that is for people who need it. Most people with dry skin need products with oil, people who are acne prone or have oily skin should look for oil-free products. They basically have something for everyone, men & women, young and old. It's also 100% fragrance free; fragrance can really irritate the skin. And it's also allergy tested, which goes through even more testing than hypo-allergenic products. They do have a wonderful skin & shave care line for Men, if that is what you were interested in. I hope this helps!

I have dry sensitive skin and years ago I bought all the clinique stuff and stuck religiously to the skin care regime for my skin type. I have to say that I was not at all impressed really. The only thing I thought was any good, was the clarifying lotion (toner). I have a friend who has used it carefully for years and got blackheads on her cheekbones, hmmmm

Eight years ago I discovered Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish. Its a creamy rich cleanser which you rub on a dry face (even over full make up, mascara included). You get a muslin cloth with the cleanser which you dip in hot water then sqeeze out and wipe the cleanser off your face. I have never had such great skin. All her products have no chemicals in them, and they are full of lovely plant extracts, natural vitamins and essential oils. She still hasn't found anyone who has been allergic to her product. I never now get dry patches on my complexion like I got even when using Clinique. I just LOVE this stuff lol, sorry for ranting. It makes your skin glow and it even gets rid of tiny blackheads which you've had for a long time, that were too small to remove. Whenever she is on QVC home shopping channel, their phone lines are jammed with callers trying to buy her latest product or offer. :) This cleanser is about half the price of Clinique, and I believe is a better product. It is the only item ever to score 10/10 in the Beauty Bible. www.lizearle.com

I used to use Clinique years ago and really liked it. I always purchased it when one of the big stores had a promotion, which meant you got a bag with lots of free goodies when buying two or more products. But now, like one of the answerers, I use Liz Earle and it is wonderful although, I am very allergic to their eyebrightener lotion. But LE is so good that even if I get this in one of the QVC's "Today's Special Values" I phone them direct and they replace it with something else. Your can order online or phone (I prefer phoning as it is more personnal). Also, you always receive a complimentary gift with your order (which makes up for postage) and the brochure makes wonderful reading. If you are interested in Liz Earle she has a "TSV" on Sun 4th Feb starting a midnight and running all day although it is soon sold out. I promise you I do not work for them!!

Clinique's products contain the same active ingredient as all other face wash produst on the shelf at H-E-B and Wal-Mart, and most contain baby oil that can clog pores.. A couple of really good product lines out there are Kiehls, which can be bought at Saks 5th Avenue, a little pricey but worth it, and any product form L'Occitane works really well..

Great question! Clinique's skin products are very nice. Believe it or not the moisturizer and the acne treatment are both nice. Good luck!

The product I like best is Turnaround Cream. Put that on at night and wake up in the morning to very soft, toned skin. It really does help to keep wrinkles at bay.

Everything they have is good. I especially like the eye makeup remover and the lipsticks and matching lip liners. Silky smooth.
Skin care products are great, especially the soap and lotions.
