i think vitamin e, those that comes in soft gelatin capsules which you can poke using a needle works best for any skin problem.. last summer my back was burnt so bad and it had black discolorations everywhere and i tried using this and after a couple of days it peeled off.. also, you can try using erythromycin, an antibiotic specifically made for skin.. sometimes you can buy facial cleansers/toners with this already or if you are on a budget, you can buy a 500mg capsule of it and put half of it in a tea-tree toner(depending on the size of the toner).it works like miracles for me Ü hope it'll work for you too

Exfoliate weekly- use a face scrub for that- to remove the dead skin layer and let the new skin come to surface. I personally like St. Ives Apricot Scrub which costs about $4. In the meantime you can also use cover up such as concealer made for acne marks (the green color counteracts with red marks.) In time the marks will fade.
