I perfer cats because they are cleaner and don't stink as much

Cat of course!!! They're not going to make you run around in the neigbourhood when it's cold outside!

Cats!
Cats don't have to be walked, and they know how to use a litter pan the first time you show it to them.
Cats are soft, and have real fur...not hair, as dogs do.
Male cats' sex organs are discreetly covered with fur, not on vulgar, bare display as dogs' are.
Cats don't bark.
Cats don't gobble their food.
Cats, not being pack animals, are not compelled to attach themselves to you. They do it only if they want to; therefore, a cat's affection really means something.
Cats can be left on their own for a day or two; dogs can't.
And, finally, cats are superb mousers; dogs just look at mice and bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark......
P.S. Cats don't smell bad, because they bath themselves, without any help. Whereas, dogs stink.

I like dogs better than cats. I think that cats stink and are messy. You don't have to worry about cleaning a litter box with a dog. Additionally cats climb on the counters and tables. This seems very unsanitary after they were just in the litter box.

I was always a big dog person but we recently adopted a cat and he's great. One cool cat ya know

Well I really like both, but I prefer cats because they are funnier & you can bring themside to play and watch them do funny things

My cat for his Independence, and playful manner.
The puppy I'm getting for companionship, playfulness, and needing 'me'.
Neither 'stink' and both are clean healthy pets.

dogs.
they protect you, and if you take care of them properly-taking them to the groomers, feeding them right, etc. then they won't stink. usually a dog stinks because it's owner is too lazy to wash it or take it to the groomers.

we have outdoor dogs and cats and the dogs are by far better especially big dogs.

Have one of each. Love them both equally, but for different reasons. Just like my kids!
