Stay with XP. Let microsoft fix all the bugs and release some updates for Vista first. There really isnt any reason to get Vista until it becomes the normal, which wont be for awhile yet.

If your computer has the specs yes. The major barriors are 1 gig or more of ram and a Pentuim 4 or more equilvent proccesor and a really good graphics card. If you don't have that I wouldn't recomend getting it. It is the most buetiful OS out there and one of the most secure. Most programs and drivers you have now should be compatible but run microsoft upgrade advisoy to see the specifics. http://windowsvista.com

Hold off on it....Vista's bound to have bugs, and at least wait til the inevitible Service Pack add-ons come out. As to your present computer, my motto is the old "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

No, best take a wait and see on vista. And check out if your ISP will work with Vista, mine said no.

i would suggest just staying with xp right now cuz there may not be many programs for it right now. if you do decide you want to upgrade make sure you system is ready for it. here is a site to help out.
