When I was in college I worked as a night auditor for a Hotel. My shift started at 11:00 pm and ended at 7:00 am. During those hours there are very few guest if any to check in/out. And the audit process is computerized so after a few clicks you are finished, (I actually worked maybe 1-2 hours per night) Many hotels higher part-time workers to cover the weekend shifts - the hours are not the greatest but you have the entire night to study (and squeeze in a couple naps) Try and get a job with the better quality hotels so you don't have to deal with the low life that come into budget hotels/motels and many of the better hotels also have night security.

At my college (USC) there are a LOT of jobs on campus like this! I doubt your college is any different. I personally work at The Office of Religious Life. I'm just a secretary for the Dean there. I rarely have anything to do, and mostly just do my homework. Try finding an office position oncampus. I'm sure they always need people. You can ask them in the interview what the job is like, if there's a lot of work, or just observe the environment and get a feel for what you will have to do before you start. You can look in the school newspaper, walk around and ask particular offices for applications, and/or go to the workforce center and say you need help finding a job. Working at the campus library (or any public library) would probably be a good place to try, too. Good luck.

Some security (night watch-man, etc) companies allow studying on the job.
Other than that, selling mutual funds with a securties license can give you a little income, but it takes alot of work and meetings with many people to make anything. You do need the license, and that takes alot of study in itself.
.
Some people sell RESP (Registered Education Savings Plans), but that takes a special license too.

work in your computer room. my husband did that back when he was in college, he got paid by the school to watch kids and monitor the room. he got all his work done, and chatted with me! if that's not an option you could try to be a telemarketer or a customer service provider. i did that for a few years and on slow days i worked an eight hour shift where i only took a few calls - all night! i got all kinds of stuff done. one night i took all my bills in and did my budget for the month right there, wrote out all the checks to pay my bills and everything.
