I'm not sure but I like it! I think that little ones should be called "new people" I mean heck after all that's what they are is new!

Boy, that's a hard one, (isn't that what eve said when looking at a naked Adam?) Maybe because the kids are NEW to the world, while the "Old people" are old.

I don't like to call old people "old people"

I call them "olds".

Like your at a bar and a bunch of old people walk in and you look at your buddy and say "oh great, here come the olds."

I'm an 'old person' and I call them 'whippersnappers' or 'rug rats'. Gets the meaning across without calling them 'new people'.

Yesterday I heard someone call elderly people "the olderly." Because she's stupid, not because she was trying to be clever.
