1. Is this sqrt(9x^2y^6)? If so, you take the square root of each component: 9, x^2, y^6

3xy^3

2. sqrt(24a^(3b)) = 2a^b * sqrt(6a^b))

1.) √9x^2y^6 = 3xy^3

Hint: (3X3)=9, (X(X))=X^2, (y^3)(y^3)=y^6
As you can see each has two factors, so the square root would be one factor of each.
