Stay indoors and order out. Just joking..
But really, the full moon is a very powerful time, most people just dont know how to harness that energy. Some get irritable, some get loopy, some are even happy-go-lucky excited, but all of this stems from the energy that the full moon shines on the earth.
Now, about dealing with your own 'craziness', I would reflect on your inner self and try to harness this energy.
As to dealing with Other people's insanity, not a whole lot you can do there, except the very first suggestion.
Hope this helps!

Well...I'm a CANCER and we are supposedly ruled by the moon. Whenever I'm feeling out of sorts or extra-melancholy, you can bet there's a FULL MOON outside. Just like yesterday...I was all down in the dumps and then this evening I realized it was a full moon and then my mood made perfect sense. I've noticed this pattern a lot over the years, but I'm a very self-aware/self-conscious person. I don't start howling at the moon or nothin' like that...but it definitely has an effect on my moods. Seriously. The moon rules the tides, also. Water symbolizes emotions...especially in your dreams. I dream a lot and often water is involved in some form or another. Well...don't know how to pull you out of the "Lunar Craziness" but just knowing that there's a reason for it (Full Moon) makes me feel better ! PMS doesn't help, either...especially when it's at the same time as the FULL MOON... double whammy !!

It has been known for thousands of years that the phases of the moon have a direct influence on animals, including humans.
As a Registered nurse I have experienced it.Physical pain, mental illness, the potential for suicide and even drug use are all exacerbated by the full moon.
It is were the terms lunatic and lunacy come from.
As an Egyptology student, I know that the Ancient Egyptians were very aware of its significance. In rituals and planting of crops.
I can only say,be aware of it.Keep a journal of your feelings. You may find this enlightening!
But I don't believe in werewolves.

Lock yourself in a basement, room, or attic with a loaded shotgun and lots of beefjerky, wine, and water. Once you hear the crazies come a knock start'a shooting!

Hate to disagree with one answerer but several studies show; no more looniness occurs during the full moon than any other time. Now, should you live near the beach, go sit and watch the activities on the sand during the moonlit night.

The next time you walk outside, the change in gravitational attraction between you and your house will be more than you ever experience because of the moon.

The general gravitation equation is (approximately): the product of the mass of two objects divided by the squared distance between the two objects. That means that you are getting gravitationally whacked constantly by all kinds of things – and the moon is not one of them.

Exactly, people see what they want to see - and overlook and forget about the rest.

If you own any crystals, this is the perfect time for the Moon Goddess to charge them up for you. That in itself will protect you from all the lunatics.
