well I cant say he's a buddy OR a mate. But he's my love. I gave him everything I had, and it is definetly not being returned. But you know what? I can't stop trying, I wont give up. All he has ever given me is mixed signals...I don't know what to do...heh.

I guess we've all been there- I have many times. I was just there (again) awhile ago with a friend- but there's a difference between when it's like that now and say 15 years ago. Now, I'm giving out of friendship and I realize that whether they return the favor or not- I chose to do it so I'm 'the winner'. If I see that the person isn't really capable of friendship, I don't commit anything of real value (no confidences) to them and may even choose to distance myself from them, but I don't feel abused anymore because I'm choosing to do what I do and I can choose to walk away at any time...

If it happend more than once I would think they were intentionally diregarding me, but it's also likely that they are so self absorbed that no ones time means nothing to them.
