Is the mother board functon normally with increased RAM ? I wanted to use it for skype but it is hanging. one suggesion is to upgrade RAM to 516 from present 128.

Yes, your computer can handle the extra memory. If you are running 128MB of RAM then your lucky windows is running, and I'm guessing that opening other programs is pretty slow. So simply purchase and install more memory and your skype should work correctly.

Depends on the motherboard. I would try putting in a 256mb stick so you would then have 384mb of ram.
