In the music industry nothing. What he does or what hes good at is producing top rated TV shows. That's what he did in England and now that's what hes doing here.

Music producer in the UK. He's had two relatively huge artists (a woman and a boy band) over there, though I don't know if he's had success as a producer in the US outside of Idol.
