Does this article really reflect what you want?

http://health.yahoo.com/experts/menlovesex/15246/4-ways-to-ruin-valentines-dayand-how-to-avoid-them

On Valentines Day, would you want the traditional Card, Roses, Fancy Restaurants, and Lacy lingerie? or personalized emails, orchids, finger food at home, and cotton clothes?
Or would you mix and match those stuff? Or do you have a better idea?
Thanks, in advance.

Honestly, it depends on the woman. It should be personal, for instance, some women want the dozen roses box of chocolates and sweet card, topped with an expensive dinner. Others, would prefer a stuffed animal and a home-cooked meal. If the day means something to her, make it special, but above all else, make it personal. Give her a box of sweets she loves, but rarely gets. Cook her dinner, or take her to a place you both have been meaning to try.

I didn't go to the article.....But I do agree with the ones that say that the traditional things are great...Well for most woman anyway...There are those of us who like things different...I mean you would have to decide that on your own..I gave you my opinion, but you have to also think what your female likes and dislikes..Does she like the roses, cards, and the nice restaurant....Think about that a little..hehe..Personally all that would be great for me...*_*

the emails, orchids, food at home and cotton clothes.

very good.
either ur a good guy that wants to show ur woman that ur commited and comfortable w her or
u a cheapie and wanna make her think that those mean ur
commited and comfortable w her,
as opposed to the typical roses and dinners.
either way, u a smooth muthaf*cka.

Well, as for me, I do prefer orchids instead of roses.
And I find "boy shorts and a cotton tank... sexier than the aforementioned unmentionables", it's something different at least.

My favorite candy but no need of a heart shaped box. Flowers are nice but the best is a whole evening spent with someone you love.Perhaps a quiet evening watching a movie at home together. Its not what ya get but time spent.

I'd settle for a dishwasher! Hell, I'd even go for power tools!
Flowers die, fancy restaurants are stuffy, lingerie don't stay on you long enough to say so (and it itches),cards,e-mails etc...don't have a use.(unless you use them for wallpaper) Maybe I'm weird but I like usefull things and I'm a fix-it yourself girl.

Traditional things like roses, chocolates etc. are enjoyed by typical, boring (sorry, I had to say it) women. And the men who give these presents are not creative enough to come up with something that would suit their partner.

Just think about the things your girl has told you she likes. Think about her favourite foods, places to dine out, activities. And go from there. If she wants chocolates, roses, etc. fine (sigh) but try to come up with something creative!
