1774- Several things, battle of Point Pleasent,
1775-Lexington and Concord, First continental congress(maybe 74 idk)
1776- U.S. declares independence.
1781-U.S. actually secures it's independence with a victory at the battle of Yorktown.

There was no U.S. in 1215. There was no United States until July 4, 1776.

In 1781, a combined American and French Army, acting with the support of a French fleet, captured a large British army, led by General Charles Cornwallis, at Yorktown, Virginia. The surrender of General Cornwallis ended serious British efforts to find a military solution to their American problem.

The Barons forced King John to sign a really big bit of paper at a place called Runnymede in 1215. It was not very close to the US.

Of your other dates, only 1781 can have any relevance to US history.
