I would describe as the third World War and, frankly, our bureaucracy's not. You cant call it a World War, when its only three Middle Eastern countries.

We must recognise that people do not tie bombs to their bodies or crash their planes for the fun of it. They must have a reason for it.
We have not made such a good job managing this global village of ours. There is no trust — and no good governance.

We have to remove the reasons. Out-terrorising the terrorists will not work. But removing the causes for terrorism will.

Good governance is simple if we curb the greedy and forget about self-regulating markets. Governments are not yet anachronistic. They have a role to play.

We need a paradigm shift, we need a new mindset if we are going to put an end to this Third World War. We need victory for both, a victory where both sides will benefit.
The world is big enough and rich enough for everyone. There is no need to take everything for ourselves. A win-win solution is possible. If we can overcome our anger and hatred, our craving for revenge, our unlimited greed, we can manage the world and achieve trust and eventually good governance.

Your nickname tells me you like to talk about "dead" people so your question does not surprise me. It fits you. As to the prospect of a WW-III -- that is a far fetched possibility and probability. Communications much improved since the WWII and public influence has tremendously gotten better. We hope we shall not see a WW III in our life-times. I would like to give a small advice -- take it or leave it -- it is by talking on some issues in public --that the idea get stuck in the minds of people and the realization of such damned act might follow. Thus, avoid talking about the subject matter. Hope it does help.

In a sense, we're in a world war right now. US is the only world power in the world, and we're at war with an enemy we're fighting all over the planet.

No. I'd like to think that Man is not so STUPID as to make the same mistake- a third time. If he IS, then he might as well wipe himself off the face of the Earth, because he's obviously is not capeable of playing "nice" with others.

Yes definitely because there is always some mega manic seeking to rule the world. Example. We got one in our White House right now. Iran has one for their President right now.

Things certainly seem to point that way, with all the talk of nuclear weapons and distabilization of governments, the question is when.
