The politicians of both countries are nuts. Most Americans, if asked, would agree that if another country invaded the USA, whether justified or not, they would take up arms and conduct warfare against the invader. They would use roadside bombs and all other means to repel the invader. When they come to that realization, they also realize that there is no point in trying to occupy Iraq and we should get out. However, now people fear retribution, further attacks even after the troops leave. So, they think that we need to establish a more stable government to minimize future efforts at revenge. Because, future efforts at revenge will bring future retribution, which will bring future revenge, which will bring future retribution, until everyone is dead.

i'm not pro-war but first of all "arabs" have been running around blowing things up for a long time, france england, india and on and on.
and it's not all right for anyone to kill anyone but if you care about a topic you choose a side it just so happens people are siding with the "Americans".
plus everyone sees the arabs nations as an archaic women bashing society hell bent on killing everything thus evil which make America the less of the two evils.

Excuse me but, do you remember a heathen named Saddam Hussein? Iraqis were being slaughter by him.
So, you're saying that it's ok to slaughter the Iraqi people as long as it's one of their own doing the slaying? Something is wrong with this type of mentality.
That's why thousands and thousands of Iraqis got out of there and came to America, many would like to go home to a free Iraq.
Arabs kill Americans because they hate Americans and what we stand for, freedom of choice.

I believe the correct term is insurgent. Most Americans believe it is not right to kill at all. We may not all feel it is proper for this war to be happening. but If a religion asks its believers to kill then maybe it is bad religion.
