Spell Check Works Wonders!
You are wanting more TORQUE, Tawk is something you do on a SELL PHONE.
You can add another turbo, IF the lower end can physically handle it. You can also add in a nitrous system and/or a water/meth injection system. I recently spoke with a diesel mechanic, and he did NOT recommend the water/meth system due to the fact that it is hard on the lower end, and its only real benefit is in the cooling factor.
NOS is not actually expensive, but it is not a constant HP gain either. For permanent gains, Look for hidden HP, such as with underdriven pullys, a twin turbo set-up, if you rebuild the motor to handle a twin turbo, have the engine balanced, If it is available, go light weight on everything you can.
You can steal back a few HP by using an electric fan, rather than a belt driven fan (if you have one of those)

Horsepower is a function of torque and RPM. Diesels have a lower horsepower rating because they spin so much slower than a gas engine. Many gas engines can spin about twice as fast as a diesel. While a diesel has much greater torque than a gas engine, when you run it through the horsepower equation, it comes out as a low number because of the lower RPM's it runs. A decent torque number combined with a high RPM gives a gas engine a comparatively higher horsepower number. Horsepower is determined by: (torque X RPM)/5252. Horsepower and torque are equal at 5252 RPM. Hope this helps.

Cheap? Nothing about diesels are cheap. You can improve the air intake with an aftermarket air intake filter and intake hose. The best thing to do is get in touch with Banks. No one knows diesels better than Banks and they will steer you in the right direction

First off HP doesn't come cheap. Bullydog.com offers a package called bullydog that will add tons of HP to your truck. I believe that they are using propane as the booster. It should be installed by a mechanic to avoid any damage that may occur thru leaks from improper fittings.

Propane injector kits for diesels , just like nitrous for a natural aspirated engine. Check online they sell kits.
