like people that are soo close in dieing

In what sense? I mean, if you go to the doctor for a treatable illness that, if left untreated, could kill you, did the doctor save you? Or do you just mean people who were on the brink of death and something the doctor actually did (as opposed to a miracle cure) saved them?

Probably not as many as are killed by the medical system.

Drug reactions, interactions, incorrect prescriptions.
Hospital aquired infections
Misdiagnosis
Etc, etc.
