I have a self wax floor and never put anything on it . Just cleaned it with Windex and water. But it doesn't look as shinny after 5 years. I thought about using Mop & Glow but I am afraid of ruining it or getting a wax build up.

Mop & Glo or Future will work just fine because they are made for no-wax floors. Either one will build up over time, but it's a matter of mopping with a solution of ammonia to remove the buildup (the directions are on the label). I would not recommend using furniture polish because the silicone will make the floor too slippery. Plus, furniture polish will not create the durable protective layer that acrylic floor polishes provide.

I do my floors with mop and glow, but I had some water to the mop and glow so as there is not that much wax going on the shiny floor. But the floor is clean.

I have no wax floor and if it is shiny use Murphy's oil soap diluted in a bucket of water. Probably about a capful in about two gallons of warm water. Works good for me. Plus different vinyl floor makers carries their own cleaners. I have used Armstrong's once and done and it to does well. However, I think the Murphy's oil soap is gentler on floor.

Windex is not strong enough to thoroughly clean a floor Use a good floor cleaner and rinse very well or it will not shine because it will have a film on it.
