It seems that you wish to do Offline Browsing. It is certainly possible to download entire web portals (not just web pages) comepleted will all images, links and multimedia content using offline browsers. However, the time taken to download the contents of a website requires lots of patience unless you have an internet connection of 512 kilobytes/sec.
Search for Offline Browser through Google and you will get many options to choose from.
An Indian team of engineers from IIT Bombay have received much applause for their brainchild in this field, named WEBAROO.

YES, but as you say, you need to download ALL the link, picture, etc. Some website wont allow you to download their site, so sometimes you can do it completely.

Hi Yes thats possible. All you need is Hard Drive Space..all you have to do is open the website. And click on the file menu at the top and then select save as. Save as the pages to your hard drive in any folder of your choice and that will save everything from there.

With a little piece of software called Teleport you can download just about any web site.

Go to www.download.com and download offline explorer. Its a very good software and you can configure what you want to download from the site, how deep, what you want , what you want not to download etc.
I have used it very effectively few years back. And i am sure the latest version would also be very good.

it is possible to download only html files to download as it is.if it is serverside program like php,jsp,bsp etc.u will get only the data displayed in screen and not the orginal code and it is also not possible to get the serverside programmed source to get avail in view source.To get links u hv to go to each and every link seperately, then save the same.
