My father, who is 86 was a member of Merrill's Marauders. I've got books about them, but he said there was a movie made about them. I vaguely remember watching something as a child but I can't find the movie anywhere--does anyone know about this!?

KDC has it--Jeff Chandler!! All I remember is Daddy sitting there saying "dam they're making that way prettier than it was!" And me being a wee one asking "oh did the little mule really die!!". I later learned about life in the swamps, and muleskinners!!
