Has anyone on "Yahoo Answers" ever tried out for Idol? If so how long did you wait in line? Did you get to try out for Randy, Paula, and Simon? Was there a pre screening process that "weeds" people out? Were you ever featured on t.v.?

My sister did. She said she had to sing in front of some people before she could sing in front of simon,randy, and paula. They let her through. She said it was about a 3 or 4 hour wait before she got in to see them. She made it through to hollywood but turned them down because she didnt want to leave her kids....yeah i know...shes dumb..it was only 2 or 3 months.

I am different from those people in that I KNOW I suck at singing and don't need judges and a national audience to tell me!

i only wish! it would be awesome to talk about, "hey , i was there. they're mean. wanna hear me sing and see what those losers turned down?" wouldn't it be awesome? i bet just standing in line is fun! too many stupid people there, though. love the show, though.
