You would've had to ask this question! And I have no choice but to answer it. You will be very disappointed though. OK, I did this one time, lick it all the way to the center, got to the tootsie-roll part, and it was so Good, THAT I FORGOT HOW MANY LICKS (DAMM-IT) THAT IT TOOK! And now the world and me will never, never, never, EVER know! I won't ever lick a tootsie-roll pop again as long as I live! I won't even eat a "TOOTSIE"! So who is the "STUPID" one here huh? BUT THEN AGAIN HOW MANY OF "YOU" OUT THERE, CAN TELL A...."LIP LICKING-NON-LOP-PIN, CENTER STICK-IN, SLIP-PIN SLOP-PER, SUCK-EN SUCKER....Story like this! HUH? Years ago, a buddy of mine actually did this for a lark.
He licked the same side until he got to the tootsie roll.
It took him 1148 individual licks.
I wouldn't remember this, except he made me sit there with him the entire time. You don't know the true meaning of boredom until something like this happens to you.
I'm glad that it has paid off for someone, at least your questuion is answered.
