ok well i had posted a question on here lastnight. But to some it up again, i am (was) 9 weeks pregnant, and on monday i woke up and i was bleeding very lightly, then as i was up and moving, it stopped, then took a nap, and when i woke up i was bleeding again, so i went to the ER. and they did a enternal exam, and said he seen no blood, so they thought i might be dehydrated, took the test and i wasnt, so they took the HCG level test, and when doctor came back he had asked me if i was sure of my LMP, and i was, and he said that my HCG test showed only 8000 which is only 4 weeks, so he said that if i was correct on my LMP then there might be something wrong, so they set me up to have another HCG test today, so for the last 2 days i have been bleeding lightly, off and on, not that bad really, no pain at all, and i went today and my levels dropped by 1200. so now i am really confused. some say miscarrige, some say loss of a twin. ANY HELP???
thank you for taking the time to read all this.

I have to say I can relate, I am so sorry and I wish you the best of luck. I have had a miscarriage and yes my HCG levels were alot lower than yours, mine would rise but wouldn't double, the way they should have. I would just take it easy until you know for sure, try not to worry. If you do miscarriage, you have a great chance to conceive and have a normal pregnancy.

Even at 9 weeks they should be doing an ultrasound to confirm any suspicions. I would start demanding to have 1 done right away and find out for sure what I going on. At 9 weeks if it is twins they can still tell weather they are both still there and both viable.

I don't know about the bleeding but I do know that the HCG level does start to drop after a certain amount of time, though I think it is closer to 12 weeks.

I hope you get the answers from your medical profs that you deserve.
Best of luck to you.

it could be either of those.

It could also be an ectopic pregnancy.
An ectopic pregnancy is when the baby implants into the falopian tube insted of the uterus. If it is an ectopic pregnancy it HAS to be terminated or it will result in dealth for the mother and the embryo.

When you go back they should do an ultrasound. if they dont then ask about it.
You could also look up ectopic pregnancy online and see if you have any symptoms. If you do i suggest you go to the ER asap and dont leave until they tell you what is going on. wait for a deffinate answer.

while you're having a miscarriage, I advise you pass to the ER through fact whilst I comprehend the financial concerns, the bigger challenge could be what can ensue on your individual wellbeing. Miscarriages do not continually pass easily, and there may be a difficulty, so it incredibly is better to not wait and merely pass get checked. and doubtless you at the instant are not having one, not all pregnancies are the same. the two way, you may get checked, not wait a week. Your wellbeing and your existence is incredibly worth greater advantageous than that.

wow thats a big drop!
I think you can only be 100% sure of what's going on if they give you an ultrasound.

Good luck!
