I made a lame joke to a friend who hasn't spoken to me in a while?

Do you think this lame joke will ruin our friendship? Do you think that it could have been ruined before? (I did nothing wrong) Do you have any non-mushy tips on how to repair the friendship?

tell your friend that you're sorry for the lame joke, and ask if he/she wants to hang out sometime soon. if your friend says yes, I'd asume that everything's okay.
