Here's the problem:
Object is rolling on surface with minimal friction comes to rest after 198m. Initial velocity is 3.4 m/s^2. If acceleration is constant, what is the acceleration?
What is the formula that gives us acceleration if we only know distance and initial velocity? I can't even find out which one.
So, if you could tell me what formula would work at least, or even go through the problem step by step, that would help. thanks!

Thanks to the two answers I've gotten so far!
I actually got the .02919 answer already, and my professor insists it's wrong. :( I don't know what it is with this problem!
Thanks so much though!!!

ok, the answer ended up being -.02919.
Since the velocity was decreasing, the acceleration was decreasing too! whoops! Thanks all though. :)
