I work in a juniors (girls only clothing) store in a mall near Grand Rapids,Mi. We are getting more and more male customers,sometimes with there girlfriends with them,sometimes by themselves, They are usually buying lowrise flare jeans, lowrise panties (boy shorts) shorts and even a few of them are buying skirts! I have a couple of regular crossdressing customers, that are very sweet guys. I have even had a couple of dreams about one of my regulars that I frequently help with advice and ideas. I really like him alot and the other day, I ran into him at a makeup counter in a another mall store, he was getting a makeover. He came down to my store afterwards to see me, and show me his outfit, He was wearing a denim miniskirt,black t-neck sweater,black tights(items that he bought from me)and was wearing black lace up knee hi boots,WOW! He was so HOT!I can't believe that I am so attracted to him.We talked for quite a while and then he asked me if I would like to do lunch sometime?

If a guy looks that good crossdressed as a woman & you get turned on by his appearance, it's the appearance of a woman that is turning you on, not necessarily the guy. If he looks that good & wants to go to lunch, then go, it's only lunch.

The vast majority of crossdressers are hetero.
It sounds like your friend may be transgendered. It's possible that she does not feel a relationship with a man would be a gay thing.
Have lunch with her, and get to know her better as a friend. As in any good relationship, the sexual side will find a way to sort itself out when the time comes.

Not all men that crossdress are gay. Some are hetero. Some are gay. Some I think are even bi. But you will just have to ask him what he is if he doesn't mind answering that question. Goodluck.

He does sound gay - he could be a drag queen - there are a majority of different types: Drag Queen - Gay dates guys - Female Impersonators - can be either straight or gay - Cross dresser's are usually straight and married but they like the way the "feel" in women's clothing

When you get into the grey area of where the genders meet, anything goes...And in that vane It is likely that most cross-dressers are heterosexual men. But, some gay men cross-dress. There are no clear ratios. And if they are cross-dressing it is possible they may be harboring Bi-sexual tendencies...

It is generally accepted now that the majority of male crossdressers are heterosexual, as the attraction to them is the feel of female clothes. transvestites however are men who crossdress for sexual satisfaction.Neither of these categories have any desire to change gender.

You ask if he "could be" and the answer is definitely yes. I think most people would be more apt to believe bi, but who knows? Many people dress for comfort or for shock these days, so he could be 100% straight, and he is interested in you because you are obviously interested in him, even though he dresses outside the social norm. Traditional gender roles are going away and I'm fairly certain that's what you're seeing where you work. A "guy" that wears "women's" clothing is just as likely to be straight as any other "guy."
