The actual manga doesn't state L's name but Volume 13:How to Read Death Note, does. It's an extra volume with interviews with the artist and writer and profiles of all the characters plus a lil extra. L's real name is L Lawliet. His actual name is L. Can you believe that!? It's pronounced Eru Roraito. Or Law-light in english.
