I asked a girl, who is my friend, if she liked me more than a friend because I think I do. She said she doesn't think she does yet. Does that mean she doesn't know yet or something else? BTW we are both 15 if you wanted to know.

She's probably just being nice but she's too young to do anything anyway. Just give it some time and let things develop naturally.

She might be hiding something. But she might not.

I had a girlfriend once for several years who could almost never tell me how she feels when I'd ask her. It always took her several hours or days to figure it out.

In fact that's been true for two girlfriends.

Just be patient and don't be upset if she ends up telling you she doesn't like you in the same way. It happens to everyone and your life will go on. By the time you meet the next girl you like you'll be wondering why you ever gave yourself grief over the first girl.

It means she only likes you as a friend. She didn't want to come right out and say "no, I don't like you that way" because she still wants to be your friend. So her reply "she doesn't think she does yet" means she still wants to hang out with you as a friend and who knows? maybe someday she will like you for more than a friend but for now you are just a friend.
Sorry, probably not the answer you wanted but that's really what it sounds like to me. I wish you the best of luck.

When I was your age I had a guy friend that liked me but I wasn't sure about our being together. I was comfortable just being friends but thought he was cute and nice. I kinda liked the "hard to get" bad boys and now I look back and wish I had tried to be that friend's girlfriend. I saw him a couple of years ago in a restaurant with his wife and kids. He seemed happy and I'm happy for him. We're 36 years old now. Good luck. If he had persisted more I may have been with him. He was too shy.

you can trust me, i'm 15 as well and what she means is that she doesn't feel that way about you and if it was meant to be then you'll end up with her in the future, what happens happens you got ur whole life ahead of you. I know how that girl feels, i did the same thing to this guy.

She let you down easy. She values your friendship but doesn't want to date you. Keep your options by not dwelling on her. If someone else catches your eye go for it. You are only 15 and it might sting now, but new girls will make you forget all about your crush. If she does want to leave the friend zone, she will. But don't dwell on her.

I think I would take her at her word. You might tell her you think of her more than a friend and see if that changes her opinion of you. You are both young so you could just sit back and see what happens.

She sounds smart to me. You are both very young to get serious with anyone. I would be happy just being friends for right now. I would be happy with her answer if I was you and not push things.

Just respect her wishes and see how you both feel in another year or so after you both grow up a little more.

I think it means she only thinks of you as a friend for now, but it could change.
