short answer is eat whole foods, as in fresh fruit and vegies, and meat from the butcher as opposed to things in packets you add water to. Doctors will probably tell you to avoid things like cold cuts and things from the deli because of the increased risk of bacteria, but if you do go to the deli just make sure you cook everything before you eat it. To avoid constipation eat baked beans, have a bowl of wholegrain cereal every day for breakfast, and if you can find it, get yourself some syllium husk. it's the stuff metamucil is made of and it's basically pure soluble fibre. it's kind of the consistency of fine breadcrumbs or finely shredded coconut and you can just sprinkle it over cereal, stir it into casseroles, that kind of thing. it has no flavour and pretty much just dissolves. As long as you have a balanced diet with a wide variety of foods from each food group (and it's really important to eat fruit and veg every day) you should be fine.

Just eat good food. Real food and avoid preservatives and nitrates and msg . Water, teas, juices, protein, calcium, vitamins, iron. Lots of fresh veggies and fruits and balanced meals. If you want a treat make sure it is good stuff. Walk a lot and think good things. Get plenty of sleep. While you can!

Lots and Lots of fresh veggies and fresh fruit. Whole wheat bread slow down on sugars and fatty meats, choose lean meats and drink pleanty of water and 2% milk as opposed to whole milk. Also unswettened juices and watch your salt intake, maybe even try a salt subsutitue!!

Avoid foods that are high in sodium...these don't help your blood pressure. Eat alot of fruit and vegetables. Don't drink alot of soda. This makes you hold water. Drink alot of water to flush your system 6 to 8 glasses a day. Also avoid food high in sugar content.
