Nothing wrong if you are careful. I have 500 cds plus the 150 I've downloaded on my computer. I too have an external hard drive - 250gb so plenty of room to go. I've had to upgrade my iPod several times - it's now settled at 80gb (which is full as it holds videos and pics as well). I also have 900+ DVDs, many of which I have never seen. Mine is an obsession and is very dangerous as I spend most of my monthly wage on things like this. Be very careful though as you will get sucked in as I have. I'm 25 and this addiction has been building since I started work at 17

No, not at all. It is a very positive sign, you are a good young person. So many people are finding themselves in trouble with dope, crime on the streets and other vices to do and occupy themselves with, that it is very encouraging to hear that some are in interesting hobbies such as music. I love music very much too, and my Cd's collection is well over 400 by now, I am sure.

Not really !!!! I have over 2000 cds + loads of music on my pc, and I still have over 200+ Vinyl records. So no, nothing wrong in loving music. I absolutely adore it and can't be withoutit. Did I mention that I have over 5000 songs on my Ipod as well? And if I started on my dvd's, well.....

I am willing to bet that there are lots of folk who have more CDs than you.
You sound like someone who enjoys music and likes to hear a good song no matter who is singing it.
There is nothing for you to feel guilty about.

Yeah, I can see how having a lot of CDs is wrong. Can't you?
