Now, i really need your help about something. I need to know what gadget out there (for sure,any handheld device) could we give to my father....he's turning 50 soon (March 23) and my siblings and I want to give him something special (we'll pull all our resources to buy him the best gift ever). He's a docotor and part-time businessman..we want to give him something that he could really use everyday.something that he could store necessary reminders on(some docotors i heard are using palm tops to remind them of their pts), he also could surf to check his email and also to look up on the web for more info about stuff---wifi??, and also could be used as a mobile phone (especially this!!), has a camera, a video, could play music and a bunch of other stuff thats really cool so he would also have fun discovering the gadget (he likes that)...could u help us what gadget out there has all or most of this stuff?????we'd really appeciate it.

Sounds like a Windows Mobile device is what you're already thinking about as a gift.
Pocket PC or a SmartPhone.
These are designed for business users (your Dad), and are relatively easy to show those who may not be as comfortable with technology how to get the most from them.

If money isn't a facotr then i advise getting the brand new iphone. It is a ipod, you can go on the internt, check mail, and even use a phone. It is also like a black berry but more sleak and touch screen. I recomend that you get a black berry, this is a multi tasking gadget and it will really help you dad. Also try palm piolites they are really helpful. They are almost like mini computers.

By boss likes his Treo 650. But probably and of the smart phones will do it. Blackberry(s), Treo(s), Motorola Q, Sidekick III might even be useful.

nokia n93- it has the worlds largest camera for a cell phone, it has wifi internet access, so he won't be charged extra by his phone carrier, has a music player, a lot of other cool stuff. if you do get it, don't forget to puchase a microSD card, they're pretty cheap on ebay
