i drive a 98 chevy k1500 5.7l. i am pretty knowledgable about this vehicle just never heard of it. i also know that this perticuler motor does come with one or the other. vin. r has something to do with knowing but i dont know the other letter or which one is which. if you dont know about vin but you do know the answere please describe.

I don't know the answer to your question, but if you have the owners manual it should be in there. If not go to a Chevy dealership

It is a multiport fuel injected engine and about 350 cubic inches and I think it has two bolt main bearings. If it is an automatic transmission it has the 4L60E transmission. No, it doesn't have "air injection"
